In honor of our new Lunar Readings series with our spiritual expert Rory Lula McMahan, Rory and I have teamed up to offer DIY rituals for you to do around the full moon to activate the intention of the new moon’s energy reading. Each lunar cycle, I will create a DIY activity that our readers can do to illuminate the offerings of Rory’s Lunar Readings. For our first DIY activity, we are making Full Moon Crystal Spritz. It is ideal to charge your crystals on the full moon (unless it is eclipse season), but you can also charge them in the 2-3 day shadow of the full...read more

Eating gluten-free on vacation can sometimes be a challenge. But with a little planning, I find it is always doable. And if you are like me, staying away from gluten also ensures a better vacation all around, because who wants to be in pain when they are on vacation? Here is my guide to the best Gluten Free Apres Ski options for Aspen and Snowmass. There are more options for dinner and on the slope, (Cloud Nine is legendary in Aspen Highlands) but this list is sure to crave your hunger needs and then some after an epic day on the slopes. Also to note, my...
This Friday, December 21st, marks the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. The Winter Solstice is the day we honor the return of the sun. The return of the light from the darkness of winter. This date has been celebrated for thousands of years as a time to gather and celebrate the return of the light. This year is a special Solstice because the Full Moon falls on the following day. In honor of the Winter Solstice and the season, we are throwing a holiday cocktail party on the Full Moon to celebrate with friends. The Winter Solstice is a great time to...
This year my husband and I have decided to stay in for NYE and I couldn't be more excited. It's been a full year and I don't know about you, but I am exhausted! I want to ring in the new year doing something relaxing and restorative, so that I can be bright and clear for what 2019 has to offer. Besides, these days nothing sounds quite like a party to me like champagne and comfort food. (I'll be making GF truffled potato and goat cheese flat bread!) If you're like me and will be opting for PJs and slippers instead of a dress and heels, here is your checklist on...

Spring is in the air which means longer days and the beginning of patio season. I have a new grill that I am excited to put to use the spring. We moved over the summer last year, and my last place didn’t have a grill so I missed out on a season of grilling. I love these turkey burgers for easy entertaining. I like to serve them with a simple salad, and a glass of dry white wine. You can also make oven sweet potato fries for a more hearty meal or to share with kids. This meal is also easy to prep and can make beforehand, just keep the patties stored in an...read more
Last month I was able to take a little break from the Colorado winter to escape to LA to attend the Superfine! Art Fair where I debuted 12 new paintings (more on this to come). Last time I visited LA I stayed at the NoMad Hotel Downtown and I had such a great experience I thought a second stay was a must. NoMad LA is located inside the historic, Giannini Place which was built in the 1920s as the headquarters for The Bank of Italy. The rooms are even themed to match, drawing inspiration from its Italian roots. We stayed in the Lake Como suite our first time and...read more
On March 1, ATC DEN debuted our new spring show “How Things Take Shape,” a group exhibition I curated, featuring the works of four of my favorite local Denver artists exploring geometric abstraction. Elisa Gomez’s Canopy series is based on the colorful abstraction of architecture and landscapes. The intersection of light and shadow are interpreted with vivid color relationships while simplified formations suggest an interaction between manmade structures and nature. New abstract geometric paintings by Frank Martinez are intentionally untitled and...read more
