FOUNDER and CREATIVE DIRECTOR
CURATOR of ATC DEN

Favorite Artist

Julie Mehretu, Pat Steir, Helen Frankthaler

Favorite Band

My playlist alternates from Drake to Rolling Stones and so much in between. Right now I am really loving Sturgill Simpson, Alicia Keys and A Tribe Called Quest’s new albums.

Favorite Drink

Small batch whiskey on the rocks.

Favorite outdoor activity

Skiing on a powder day.

My top 3 beauty products are

My charcoal face mask from Fig & Yarrow, Indie Lee squalane oil and coconut oil.

My perfect Sunday

Lazy morning reading a book (because I lack the skills of sleeping in), yoga, walk to brunch with my husband and puppy. An afternoon gardening, cooking, or soaking in the fresh air.

Things I love most

Celebrating life. Finding moments throughout the day to soak in all in. Whether is it a long walk, sipping my morning green tea while watching the birds outside the window, dinner with friends, dancing at a concert, or letting it all go on the yoga mat. No matter how busy or stressed out I may get, I really try to take time each day to take a deep breath, give thanks, and find little ways to connect back into the magic of life. And I am really obsessed with essential oils. My current favorites are frankincense, lavender and cedarwood.

What are you most grateful for?

My husband and my puppy. The freedom to be creative, explore, contemplate and expand. Being able to be part of such an inspiring group of strong women. And moonlight. I am always grateful for moonlight.

What does contemporary bohemian to you?

Contemporary is of the moment. It’s an awareness of the community and world around you. Bohemian means using your own creative expression to navigate each moment in a way that is authentic and honest to you. Contemporary Bohemian is both a style and a mindset of following your own artistic expression of living life, whether the medium in art, music, design, cooking, raising a family or how you get dressed that morning. Contemporary Bohemian is the attitude of the modern creative who puts their own personal expression on whatever they do.

What are you most grateful for?

What does contemporary bohemian mean to you?

Bohemianism is defined as the practice of an unconventional lifestyle, often in the company of like-minded people, involving musical, artistic, or literary pursuits. As a “contemporary bohemian” we have these same pursuits, but with the aid of technology and social networks we can exponentially expand our connection with other like-minded people. Our community is everywhere.
