Summer time and the grilling is easy. And this summer appetizer is our new favorite grilling staple. These snap peas are made in 5 minutes and make and are perfect to enjoy on your patio with a cold summery beverage like a lemon tarragon gin cocktail while you wait for your turkey burgers to cook. I love to make these and then relax for a bit before throwing on my dinner or while cooking longer grill items. The coconut yogurt dip is refreshing and dairy free. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Grilled Snap Peas with Lemon Coconut Yogurt Dip

Makes 4 people


  • 3 Cups Snap peas
  • 3 Lemons
  • 1 cup Unsweetened coconut yogurt
  • Avocado oil spray
  • Salt to taste


  1. Preheat grill to medium high heat. 

  2. Spray avocado oil on top of snap peas and toss. Then place grill basket or grill topper on grill and snap peas on top. 

  3. Place two halved lemons juicy side down on the grill basket alongside the snap peas. Stir occasionally until charred on both sides. About 5 minutes.

  4. To make dip, Place coconut yogurt in bowl. Add the zest and juice of one lemon and stir. Dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.

  5. To serve, squeeze grilled lemons on the snap peas and serve in a bowl with dip on the side.
