There’s nothing quite like a pitcher of sangria on a sunny summer afternoon among friends. Wine, fruit, and ice. Truly summer perfection. I love experimenting with different wines and fruit combinations throughout the summer. This first recipe kicks off the sangria section of the blog in a way that is truly as delicious and refreshing as it is gorgeous and festive. And the best part is, it is an “instant” sangria. You don’t have to let it soak overnight. In fact, don’t, or you will loose all of the bubbly goodness. And we all need bubbly goodness.
Sparkling rosé wine, limoncello, and a combination of blueberries, strawberries and lemon slices make this sangria perfect for your Fourth of July BBQ with family and friends. Pour all of the ingredients together in a pitcher and serve over ice. I love the flavor profile combination of the dry yet fruity notes of the rosé and the tartness and booziness of the limoncello.
