DIY Bacon Bloody Mary Gift Set
Photos by Sara Ford
I am a huge fan of homemade gifts for the holidays. And even more so gifts you can eat, or in this case, drink. Bloody Marys are such a festive holiday drink and perfect for lazy holiday mornings in your pajamas with the ones you love.
For my bloody mary kits, I make an infused bacon vodka, celery sea salt and bloody mary mix. I love using two mason jars with writable tops and twine. You can get these writable chalkboard tops here.
This is an easy to make DIY gift that also makes a great hostess gift.

Put two slices of cooked bacon in jar full of vodka. Let the bacon sit one to two weeks. Take out bacon. Using a strainer or a cheese cloth, strain vodka to remove bacon fat. Pour bloody mary mix into a separate jar. To make celery salt, mix equal parts celery salt and kosher salt together.
