First Hints of Spring
Photos by Sara Ford
This week marks the first of Spring. There are little moments of spring showing up all around, hinting to us with subtle blooms and specks of color. My daffodils are in full bloom, and my garden beds composted and turned. The weather has been in the 70's most days, and the sun is warm on my face. Spring is officially here and I can hear her telling me to slow down and take it all in. I know we all get so busy with life and all the things we are doing, but spring offers us her poetry. And it is up to us to take the time to listen.
I love this gray-toned floral mural by Jet Martinez. I remember seeing Jet's work around San Francisco and it was such a nice surprise to find this mural in Denver.
My go to spring look usually involves a sweater and shorts. This Vince sweater with a artistic take on nautical stripes is so dreamy. Styled here with black boyfriend shorts and perforated booties by Rag & Bone and a felt Janessa Leone hat.
