Holiday Tree Shopping
Photos by Sara Ford
This past weekend, I had the best time tree shopping and decorating our tree. We have the cutest Ice Cream Shop in our neighborhood, Little Man Ice Cream, and each year they transform their outdoor area into a winter wonderland of trees. The trees all come from a local Colorado tree farm in the mountains. My husband and I walked to the tree lot post Linger happy hour on Friday. I was ecstatic to find a gorgeous spruce tree. We picked it up on Saturday, and I spent the afternoon drinking champagne and decorating the tree... A holiday tradition that I love. Champagne and sparkles... Yes please.
And now for the coat. This coat is my new favorite winter statement piece. It is an off-white shearling coat with dark navy geometric lines from a Parisian designer called Sprung Freres. Swoon. I melted when I saw this coat at Colorado store MAX in Aspen, Colorado. It was definitely a splurge, but also a unique investment piece that I am excited to wear for many winters to come.
