Last Saturday I welcomed some of my dearest friends and collectors to celebrate my newly expanded studio space at Ironton Distillery Artist Studios. With high ceilings, tons of windows facing the mountains, big white walls, and a flood of natural light, this is truly the studio of my dreams.

Finding the right workspace is a tricky thing for artists, but like so many things in life, timing is everything. Now I can look back at my previous frustration with dark, cramped studio space, and truly know that this gem was well-worth the wait. I am so full of gratitude for all that conspired to get me where I am now. The team at Ironton has gone above and beyond to make their artists feel welcome, and I can’t wait to celebrate on their newly opened patio this spring and summer!

Expect to see a lot of new pictures and in-process moments in this new art studio this summer, as I have a large new project that I am looking forward to starting soon. And let’s just say this: I plan on using every inch of this new studio to make this project come to life. Follow my art happenings on instagram @lauramoretzart.
